We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows. In this role, you’ll play a central part in shaping how software is built, tested, and delivered by improving systems that support rapid, reliable releases.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure with a focus on scalability, availability, and security.
- Build and refine CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to accelerate software delivery.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security and compliance into development workflows.
- Implement monitoring and alerting strategies to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Lead efforts in containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes to support modern application architectures.
- Guide junior engineers through mentoring and contribute to team knowledge with training materials.
- Support secure cloud practices by conducting assessments and enforcing configuration standards.
What We're Looking For
- Matric or equivalent educational background
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform
- Familiarity with SonarQube or similar code quality and security tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles in a team setting
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Technology Environment
You’ll work with Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, and configuration management tools to build and maintain resilient systems. Your focus will include automation, security, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
