Responsibilities
- Advance progressive delivery using Argo Rollouts and GitOps methodologies.
- Improve canary deployment techniques, automated health assessments, and self-service deployment tooling.
- Operate directly with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Argo Rollouts to ensure seamless and transparent deployments.
- Scale and refine CI/CD infrastructure for high-performance delivery.
- Streamline CI workflows to enhance speed and dependability.
- Reduce build durations across a large number of microservices.
- Strengthen artifact handling and package distribution processes.
- Develop tools that accelerate and stabilize continuous integration.
- Implement automated quality validation, including end-to-end, load, and progressive delivery testing.
- Guarantee all deployments are secure and reversible.
- Develop detailed monitoring, dashboards, and alert systems using Datadog and internal tools.
- Expose deployment metrics in Backstage for real-time service health visibility.
- Deploy chaos engineering frameworks to test system resilience.
- Design and implement automated rollback systems.
- Establish trusted metrics that reflect deployment confidence.
- Build infrastructure that continuously evaluates service performance pre- and post-deployment.
- Integrate k6-based performance testing frameworks.
- Automate detection of performance regressions.
- Link performance testing to deployment gates to identify issues early.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify deployment challenges and deliver efficiency-boosting solutions.
- Share knowledge through documentation, training, and code reviews.
- Guide mid-level engineers through mentorship and technical leadership.
