Role Overview
We’re seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Developer to shape the backbone of our cloud-native SaaS platform. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, scaling, and securing our AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring it remains resilient, efficient, and future-ready. You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and emerging AI practices to build systems that are self-sustaining and intelligent by design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant cloud architectures using AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, AuroraDB, and OpenSearch.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm to ensure consistency and repeatability across environments.
- Build and refine CI/CD pipelines with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions, supporting blue/green deployments and automated testing at scale.
- Establish robust observability through Prometheus, Kiali, and centralized logging to monitor system health and detect issues proactively.
- Continuously analyze cloud spending patterns and implement optimization strategies to improve cost efficiency without sacrificing performance.
- Strengthen platform security by reducing attack surface, enforcing best practices, and developing disaster recovery protocols.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven methodologies—such as AIOps, agentic workflows, and context engineering—to automate operations and enable predictive infrastructure behavior.
- Guide and mentor engineering peers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing production-grade AWS environments for SaaS applications.
- Deep proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, and event-driven microservices.
- Proven experience scaling containerized workloads using Karpenter and monitoring distributed systems with Jaeger and logging stacks.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and solid understanding of Linux-based systems.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with deployment automation and rollback strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cost optimization efforts and track cloud expenditure trends.
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to collaboration and technical mentorship.
Nice to Have
- Background in software development, particularly in building APIs, services, or data pipelines.
- Experience developing production systems enhanced by AI tooling.
- Passion for cultivating engineering cultures that prioritize automation, learning, and intelligent operations.
