As a Senior Software Engineer on the Dev AI team within Developer Infrastructure, you'll lead the design and implementation of AI-driven platforms that empower engineers throughout the development process. Your role will center on creating intelligent tools that streamline workflows, improve code quality, and accelerate delivery across teams.
What You'll Do
- Define and advance the vision for AI integration in developer workflows, guiding initiatives from concept to production with strong technical ownership
- Make strategic decisions that balance innovation with system reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability
- Monitor advancements in AI tooling and assess their practical impact on developer efficiency and software delivery
- Act as a technical advisor and mentor, helping teams and leaders adopt AI capabilities effectively in their daily engineering practices
- Promote high standards in engineering through clean, maintainable code, thoughtful architecture, and resilient systems
- Support platform stability through shared on-call responsibilities and proactive improvements to operational health
What We're Looking For
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on infrastructure, tooling, or platform development
- Proven experience applying AI solutions to software engineering challenges
- Ability to quickly master new technologies and adapt to evolving domains
- Strong collaboration skills with a track record of influencing across teams
- Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript, or Kotlin
- Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Work Environment
This role is open to candidates in the contiguous United States. While primarily remote, occasional in-person gatherings or team meetings may be scheduled based on team agreements. Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $191,000 to $225,000 USD, with eligibility for equity, annual bonus, comprehensive benefits, and travel credits.
