Responsibilities
- Independently design wastewater treatment systems and apply engineering expertise to related areas such as water treatment, potable water systems, and wastewater collection networks.
- Oversee projects ranging from small to large in scope within the wastewater and water infrastructure domain.
- Enhance organizational reputation through proactive and indirect engagement with clients.
- Collaborate with CAD designers and drafters by providing technical input during project development.
- Execute CAD tasks using specialized 3D modeling software to support design deliverables.
- Develop or support the creation of engineering calculations, material takeoffs, cost estimates, field surveys, and system designs.
- Support the preparation of detailed procurement requests for materials, services, and subcontracted work.
- Evaluate supplier-submitted drawings and conduct technical assessments of vendor bids.
- Generate and distribute technical specifications, data sheets, and construction-related documentation.
- Apply professional engineer seal and signature when required, ensuring adherence to applicable codes, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Serve in an advisory role to executive leadership on complex engineering issues as needed.
- Complete diverse design tasks that rely on foundational engineering principles from formal education and professional experience.
- Perform additional duties relevant to the role as assigned.
