About the Role
The engineer will build and optimize data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, and support analytics initiatives across the organization using modern data technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reliable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to define data requirements
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to maintain uptime and performance
- Optimize data storage and query performance for large datasets
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools
- Work with distributed systems to handle high-volume data streams
- Maintain documentation for data models and pipeline architecture
- Improve data governance and security practices
- Integrate third-party data sources into internal platforms
- Evaluate and adopt new data technologies and frameworks
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
- Troubleshoot production issues related to data infrastructure
- Scale existing systems to meet growing business demands
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards
- Collaborate on schema design and database optimization
- Develop automated testing for data integrity
- Contribute to incident response and on-call rotations
- Work closely with machine learning teams to support data needs
- Drive improvements in monitoring and alerting for data systems
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
