As a Software Engineer on the Container team, you will play a key role in shaping and improving managed Kubernetes and container registry services. Your work will center on building robust, scalable features, maintaining system stability, and diving deep into the underlying mechanics of Kubernetes to optimize performance and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement new capabilities for the managed Kubernetes platform and container registry
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure health, responding to production issues with a focus on resolution and customer impact
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to align development with roadmap goals
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient deployments
- Engage with open-source projects to keep pace with evolving cloud-native technologies
- Write and maintain clear technical documentation for both internal and external use
- Participate in daily syncs and planning sessions with product stakeholders
What We're Looking For
You bring strong experience in Go and a deep understanding of Kubernetes internals—not just operating clusters, but knowing how they work under the hood. Proficiency with Linux, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and GitLab-CI is essential. Certification as a Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent hands-on expertise is a strong plus.
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, with flexibility for up to three days of remote work per week across multiple French locations. The team values autonomy, technical curiosity, and knowledge sharing in an inclusive, multilingual setting where English and French are both widely used. Offices offer modern workspaces, outdoor terraces, wellness amenities, and on-site services including chef-prepared meals and breakfasts.
The culture emphasizes simplicity, trust, and collaboration. You'll have opportunities for internal mobility and the freedom to explore new challenges within a larger technology group. Diversity, innovation, and responsible cloud practices are central to how we build and operate our services.
