As a Strategic Solutions Engineer, you will play a key technical role in guiding enterprise customers across the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark through their API transformation journeys. Working hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Customer Success, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, identifying business challenges and aligning Postman’s platform capabilities to deliver measurable impact.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, workflows, and integration needs.
- Design and lead customized proofs of concept that demonstrate value early in the sales cycle.
- Deliver interactive demonstrations and hands-on workshops tailored to developer and leadership audiences.
- Advise teams on best practices across API design, testing, documentation, and security using modern tooling.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams.
- Stay current with trends in API architecture, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and emerging applications of AI in software development.
- Represent the company at public events, webinars, and customer forums to build technical credibility.
- Develop reusable technical content, including tutorials and demo scripts, to showcase real-world implementations.
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of experience in software engineering or technical pre-sales roles.
- Proven background in API-first development, with hands-on experience in REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, or similar standards.
- Strong familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Danish or Swedish is an advantage.
