Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and update databases with verified information
- Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff in person and via phone or email
- Assist in organizing and preparing materials for departmental events or initiatives
- Perform data entry with high attention to detail and consistency
- Support team members with routine administrative tasks as needed
- Follow established procedures for handling sensitive or confidential information
- Participate in training sessions to understand departmental policies and systems
- Monitor email inboxes and respond to messages within designated timeframes
- Track project progress and report updates to supervisors
- Assist in generating reports using spreadsheets and database tools
- Help onboard new student employees by sharing procedural knowledge
- Ensure compliance with university guidelines and protocols
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with office software
- Coordinate scheduling for meetings and appointments
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies
- Attend team meetings and take detailed notes
- Support customer service functions during peak periods
- Use communication tools to relay information across departments
- Follow up on pending tasks to ensure timely completion
- Assist with collecting and summarizing feedback from stakeholders
- Prepare correspondence such as reminders and notifications
- Help maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
- Escalate complex issues to designated staff members
- Adhere to confidentiality standards when handling personal or academic data

Compensation
Hourly wage commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work Hours
- Typical schedule includes 10–20 hours per week during the academic term
- Flexible shifts available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Availability during peak registration or advising periods may be required
