i3 is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to plan, design, and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems. You will provide direct support in day-to-day operations while maintaining the reliability and robustness of the underlying infrastructure that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem across multi-enclave environments.
What You'll Do
- Supervise, coordinate, design, develop, and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems
- Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems
- Troubleshoot at both physical and logical network levels
- Participate in planning, design, technical review, and implementation for new network infrastructure
- Perform systems management and integration functions across multi-enclave environments
- Maintain network infrastructure standards including communication protocols such as TCP/IP
- Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems
- Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assist with certification and accreditation tasks
- Develop strategy for client/server systems and design infrastructure to support that strategy
- Advise on selection of technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and applications development
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Support DevSecOps practices and tools implementation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Experience with the SAFe Agile framework
- Understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure systems in government environments
