Tilt is hiring a Technical Recruiter - Contract

About the Role

Tilt is looking for a Contract Technical Recruiter for a 6-month engagement. In this role, you'll shape and execute hiring strategies across our technical teams. You'll partner directly with senior leadership to own end-to-end recruitment for engineering, product, design, and data science roles.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand hiring needs and build strategies.
  • Own end-to-end recruitment across a diverse mix of technical roles.
  • Build and manage strong candidate pipelines using creative sourcing and engagement strategies.
  • Translate complex hiring priorities into clear, scalable processes.
  • Run multiple searches at once while keeping candidates and stakeholders aligned.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to offer.
  • Collaborate with the People team to improve recruiting tools, systems, and workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience spanning technical roles (engineering, product, design, data science).
  • Exceptional sourcing and networking skills; resourceful, inventive, and resilient.
  • Process-minded: skilled at turning complexity into clarity and building repeatable practices.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen, influence, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leveraging AI tools for sourcing, screening, or scheduling.
  • Familiarity with Ashby ATS.
  • Background in fintech or startups.
