Crodu is hiring a UX/UI Designer specializing in data visualization and reporting. You will design intuitive and engaging dashboards for a US consulting firm implementing cloud data solutions, primarily Databricks. Your focus will be translating data into compelling visual stories to support critical business decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Design attractive, user-oriented dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for complex analytical interfaces.
- Develop design systems and visual guidelines to ensure consistency across client projects.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data structure and optimal presentation methods.
- Design responsive dashboards for computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Develop projects based on client feedback and usability test results.
- Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into visual concepts.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to technical audiences and management.
- Conduct design workshops and user research sessions to gather visualization requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams using Databricks as a data processing and analytics platform.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on data visualization or dashboard design (in Power BI or Tableau).
- Very good knowledge of Figma.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Business Intelligence tools, especially Power BI.
- Very good knowledge of chart types, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Basic knowledge of SQL-based reporting tools for understanding data structure and query capabilities.
- Experience with corporate design systems.
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Experience in the financial services or fraud detection domain.
- English proficiency enabling free communication within the team.
Nice to Have
- Experience using AI in design processes.
- Experience creating interactive prototypes.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for dashboard customization and embedding.
- Experience with Databricks or knowledge of modern data lakehouse platforms.
