Join a technical team focused on maintaining and supporting global Voice and Cloud Communication services. In this role, you'll provide advanced troubleshooting and second-line support for critical telecom platforms, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across international networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for Voice over IP and unified communications services, diagnosing and resolving complex network issues
- Monitor and maintain network uptime and service quality, conducting both scheduled and on-demand maintenance
- Collaborate with first-line support and customer care to investigate and resolve reported incidents
- Engage with external vendors to escalate, track, and implement fixes within the core network infrastructure
- Contribute to process improvements for proactive monitoring and provisioning workflows
- Participate in an on-call rotation, supporting emergency interventions and planned network updates
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, ICT, or Telecommunications, or equivalent technical background
- Minimum of three years in telecom operations, with hands-on experience in voice switching, provisioning, and repair—particularly within carrier or international operator environments
- Proven understanding of telecom protocols including SS7/ISUP, SIP, RTP, and MGCP, aligned with ITU/ETSI standards
- Familiarity with IP routing and switching in VoIP and unified communications environments
- Experience with transmission systems and associated hardware
- Proficiency in using protocol analyzers and signaling monitoring tools
- Working knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with next-generation network platforms such as Sonus or Dialogic
- Background with session border controllers like Ribbon or Metaswitch
- Exposure to wholesale telecom operations
- Knowledge of emergency call routing via LRF, STIR/SHAKEN frameworks, or SIP authentication
- Experience with FreeSWITCH, SIP registrars, or unified communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Understanding of core telephony systems including PBX, dial plans, and circuit routing
