About the Role

As the technical leader for Privileged Access Management (PAM), you will shape the engineering direction and long-term strategy of the PAM platform using Delinea Secret Server and associated technologies. Your work will center on securing privileged credentials across systems, ensuring robust integration with enterprise applications, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Delinea Secret Server, Server Suite, and Just Enough Privilege (JEP) components
  • Integrate databases, network infrastructure, and ServiceNow with the PAM vault to enable secure credential handling
  • Manage the lifecycle of privileged accounts, including vaulting, rotation, and access control enforcement
  • Customize and extend out-of-the-box integrations to meet evolving business and security requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

  • Advance operational maturity by defining onboarding workflows, policy standards, and break-glass procedures
  • Identify automation opportunities using APIs, scripting, and ServiceNow workflows to improve efficiency
  • Lead major platform upgrades, migrations, and resilience improvements
  • Conduct code and configuration reviews, develop runbooks, and mentor engineers
  • Track and improve key metrics such as incident volume, SLA adherence, and remediation speed
  • Ensure PAM implementations support audit readiness and compliance with security policies
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with Delinea Secret Server and related PAM technologies, including Server Suite and JEP. You should have a strong background integrating diverse systems—such as databases, network devices, and IT service platforms—with PAM solutions. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers is essential. Familiarity with firewall coordination, API-driven automation, and scripting is required. You must be available for on-call support and willing to travel as needed.

Applicants must be 18 or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. This role does not support visa sponsorship. Candidates must pass a background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting. Compliance with Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act is mandatory.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in California, the New York metropolitan area, or Seattle. You may work remotely near one of these hubs or from an office location. Regular in-person attendance is required for team meetings, training, and cultural events. Flexible work arrangements are supported, with tools and resources provided to enable career growth.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary ranges from $135,000 to $230,000, adjusted for location in high-cost markets. An annual bonus is available based on individual and company performance. Additional benefits include eligibility for Employee Resource Groups, remote work flexibility, and accommodations for disabilities upon request.

Company Culture
