As an XR Web Developer, you'll create interactive 3D and augmented reality experiences that run directly in the browser, enabling users to explore richly detailed, scanned environments layered with narrative and multimedia. Your work will power web-based time-travel experiences, blending storytelling with real-world locations through advanced rendering techniques.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and deploy web-driven 3D and AR tours using modern rendering libraries and browser capabilities
- Estimate and manage project scope and timelines using Agile and SCRUM methodologies
- Build modular, reusable components that interface with 3D environments and dynamic content systems
- Translate designs from tools like Figma into responsive, cross-platform web interfaces
- Design and maintain backend systems, including REST APIs and content management platforms
- Set up and manage testing and quality assurance environments
- Champion user experience by refining interactions through to final delivery
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive team culture through knowledge sharing and collaborative initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field—optional if compensated by strong experience
- Over five years of hands-on work with JavaScript, HTML5, and browser-based 3D rendering
- Proven background in REST API architecture, backend development, and frontend integration
- At least three years using Three.js, WebGL, SVG, Canvas, and CSS animations for interactive graphics
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to lead by example, mentor teammates, and influence product vision
Nice to Have
- Background in game development, VFX, or VR using Unity or Unreal Engine
- GitHub Actions or similar automation experience
- Knowledge of computer graphics concepts such as shaders, GLSL, or ray tracing
- Basic 3D modeling skills for quick edits and format conversions
- Mobile app or Unity application development
- Active participation in AR or blockchain communities
