The Data Governance Regulatory Analyst plays a key role within the Global Chief Data Office, focusing on interpreting data-related regulations and translating them into actionable governance controls. You will evaluate evolving regulatory landscapes to determine how rules impact business operations, and help shape policies, standards, and monitoring mechanisms that ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret data regulations and regulatory guidance to assess relevance across business functions and recommend updates to governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with data office teams and business units to define control structures that support regulatory compliance and enable effective oversight.
- Develop detailed reports and analytical insights on regulatory adherence, highlighting risks, compliance gaps, and priority areas.
- Design and track key performance indicators, including OKRs, to measure compliance maturity and progress.
- Build strong working relationships across departments to align data governance practices with business needs and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring a background in audit, compliance, or control functions, with demonstrated experience in report creation and automation. You must be able to analyze data regulations and communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders. Familiarity with frameworks related to data assurance is essential, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English is required. Experience managing concurrent projects in fast-paced environments is expected, as is the ability to adapt in a diverse, global setting.
Preferred Background
- Knowledge of core data governance principles or experience in master data management.
- Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years in financial services, technology, data management, or business analysis roles.
- At least 5 years focused on data governance, data administration, or data-centric regulatory compliance.
Compensation & Work Environment
This is a permanent hybrid position, allowing flexibility between office and remote work based on team and project needs. The annual base salary is zł182,004, with eligibility for discretionary performance-based awards.
