As the Junior Category Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg, you will lead the development and execution of the Private Label program, focusing on innovation, supplier collaboration, and market-specific strategies. Your role is central to expanding category performance in convenience retail, including beverages, snacks, carwash, and tobacco, through data-driven decision-making and strong cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of Private Label products, from concept to rollout, including supplier coordination and product lifecycle oversight
- Regularly engage in-market across Belgium and Luxembourg to gather local insights and strengthen relationships with Territory Managers and retail partners
- Use consumer and market data to identify growth opportunities, refine category strategies, and improve promotional effectiveness
- Collaborate with Format, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Network teams to implement category initiatives and drive innovation
- Support strategic planning for key categories, balancing short-term execution with long-term vision
- Negotiate supplier agreements to secure optimal commercial terms and margins per market
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including pilots and new product launches, ensuring timely delivery and impact
- Work with Data & Pricing and Mobility Analytics teams to uncover actionable insights and optimize category performance
- Respond effectively to urgent operational needs while maintaining focus on strategic goals
What You Bring
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results
- Experience in supplier relationship management and commercial negotiations
- Strong analytical ability to interpret data, detect trends, and translate findings into business actions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French
- Willingness to travel frequently within Belgium and Luxembourg
