Ruvixx is hiring a LATAM/NAMER Backend Engineer to build and maintain internal CRM tools and critical systems for global operations. You’ll design modern APIs, ensure scalable infrastructure, and deliver reliable backend services while collaborating with senior engineers.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend features using industry best practices.
- Build RESTful APIs that handle core business logic and data management.
- Write clean, testable code with proper error handling and logging.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases, including queries, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Implement integrations with third-party services for email, SMS, and payments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Monitor and debug production issues using tools like Sentry.
- Work with Docker and AWS services under guidance from senior engineers.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements and deployment pipelines.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of backend development experience using Python.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Strong PostgreSQL skills, including writing queries, creating indexes, and managing migrations.
- Familiarity with async task processing tools like Celery or RQ.
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Basic experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and ask questions proactively.
Nice to Have
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience working with AI/ML or LLM APIs.
- Understanding of multi-tenant application design.
