Workstate is hiring a Lead Native Android Developer to provide hands-on agile technical leadership. You will guide a team developing robust and efficient Android applications using Kotlin, collaborating with cross-functional partners to define, design, and ship high-quality features.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on agile tech leadership for a team developing robust and efficient Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Ensure the code quality and performance of the applications.
- Decompose and assign work to team members.
- Remove blockers, pull developers out of blind alleys, and maintain forward momentum.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of professional Android development experience with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of Android app architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles.
- Proficiency in developing applications using Android SDK, Android Studio, and related frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- B2 level (upper-intermediate) or higher English language competency with ability to communicate effectively in professional settings, both written and verbal.
