We're looking for an Open-Source Machine Learning Engineer who specializes in computer vision to help expand and refine powerful, accessible tools within one of the most widely adopted AI ecosystems. You'll play a key role in advancing libraries that support vision and multi-modal models, ensuring they remain intuitive, scalable, and production-ready.
What You'll Do
- Enhance and maintain open-source frameworks to improve support for computer vision and cross-modal applications.
- Design and refine tools that simplify how developers interact with state-of-the-art vision models.
- Collaborate directly with researchers, engineers, and data scientists across GitHub, forums, and community channels.
- Guide contributors, review code, and help others adopt best practices in model development and deployment.
- Support a global community of AI practitioners by making advanced tools more approachable and widely usable.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in computer vision, including areas like object detection, segmentation, generative modeling, or multi-modal systems.
- A strong history of open-source contributions, particularly in vision-related libraries or frameworks.
- Experience optimizing models for performance and scalability in real-world environments.
- Passion for mentoring, code review, and working across distributed teams.
- Commitment to making cutting-edge AI accessible to developers and organizations of all sizes.
Technology Environment
