WatchGuard is hiring a Sales Engineer

About the Role

Drive technical sales enablement across Southern Europe as a Sales Engineer supporting a network of channel partners. In this role, you'll act as the primary technical resource for resellers and end customers, guiding them through product evaluations, configurations, and solution adoption. You'll deliver live demonstrations, lead training sessions, and support proof-of-concept deployments to help partners close deals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain technical relationships with indirect reseller partners to expand market reach
  • Deliver pre-sales support including product demos, technical trainings, and RFP responses
  • Support customer evaluations and assist with setup and configuration of security solutions
  • Collaborate with field sales teams during customer engagements and technical deep dives
  • Organize and lead webinars, seminars, and trade show events to boost product adoption
  • Coordinate internal technical resources to address complex customer requirements
  • Report on competitive intelligence and provide feedback to product teams
  • Develop technical content tailored for partners and end users
  • Act as a trusted advisor on network and endpoint security topics

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should bring at least five years of pre-sales technical experience from a vendor or reseller, with a strong foundation in network security technologies. Experience supporting partners in the Middle East is required. You must have hands-on knowledge of UTM, endpoint protection, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and SD-WAN. Familiarity with SASE architecture is a plus.

Strong communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to manage remote relationships and prioritize multiple technical demands. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected. Certifications from WatchGuard or competing vendors are advantageous.
