Role Overview
This position is part of the SAP Center of Excellence and focuses on managing end-to-end data processes across complex enterprise landscapes. You will play a central role in ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and reliability throughout system integrations, migrations, and business transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data migration strategies, covering data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS)
- Map and analyze data flows from legacy systems to identify dependencies, gaps, and transformation requirements
- Develop, maintain, and optimize BODS jobs to improve performance and data throughput
- Apply functional expertise in SAP modules—particularly Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP)—to validate data structures and business logic
- Lead data cleansing and harmonization efforts to support accurate reporting and analytics
- Perform data reconciliation, validation, and testing to ensure integrity across source and target systems
- Work closely with technical teams, business analysts, and project leads to align data solutions with operational needs
- Document processes, data mappings, and system configurations to support audit readiness and knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration projects
- Proven proficiency with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and associated data migration tools
- Strong understanding of SAP SD, MM, and PP module data structures and integration points
- Experience in data analysis, transformation logic, and quality assurance techniques
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills
- Capable of working both independently and within collaborative project teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions
- Hold a recognized SAP certification
- Background in managing or contributing to large-scale IT projects
Technical Environment
Core technologies include SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PP, and ETL frameworks. Familiarity with data governance and migration best practices is essential.
Work Location
This role is based in Chile and requires local presence. The position supports regional and global initiatives within a structured, process-driven environment.
