Rackspace is looking for a Security Analyst III to join our global security team. This role, based in India for the night shift, is pivotal in maintaining and advancing our enterprise security posture through proactive monitoring and automation.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from global enterprise systems.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating with international teams.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and processes to improve security response efficiency.
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across the environment.
- Create and maintain documentation for security procedures and playbooks.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a security analyst or similar role within a global enterprise.
- Strong understanding of security principles, incident response, and threat intelligence.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Experience with security tools for SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to work autonomously during night shifts and communicate effectively across time zones.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in India.
