Fireblocks is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team with the mission of designing and building our new financial platform. You will have end-to-end ownership and direct impact on our product and system architecture, working alongside seasoned engineers. Fireblocks' mission is to enable every business to easily and securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
What You'll Do
- Take end-to-end responsibility for coding, designing architecture, and understanding complex schemes.
- Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience with large-scale systems.
- Diverse programming experience in at least three languages, including at least one of: Golang, C++, Scala, Java, C#, JS/TS (nodejs), Python, Rust.
- Experience with overcoming scalability and performance challenges.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Solid communication skills.
- An all-around player and self-learning individual.
Nice to Have
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Passion and knowledge of the financial ecosystem.
- Experience with blockchain technology.
