Nationale-Nederlanden is seeking a Senior Database and BI Developer on a B2B contract to take ownership of our data warehouse. You will be responsible for its end-to-end lifecycle, from design and optimization to maintenance and population, ensuring it meets evolving business needs.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize a data warehouse based on business requirements.
- Maintain and populate the data warehouse using ETL tools.
- Translate business requirements into actionable IT solution concepts.
- Design data models and document changes according to applicable standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business units to design optimal data flows.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data warehouse, large relational database, or related environment projects.
- Very good knowledge of MS SQL.
- Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using SSIS.
- Communicative knowledge of the English language.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Proactive and independent problem-solving skills, open to change and new tasks.
- Interest in cooperation on a B2B contract basis.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services tools.
- Experience in building data integration solutions based on cloud technologies like Azure Databricks, Lakehouse, or Power BI.
