HERO Software is seeking a (Senior) IT Security Consultant (w/m/d) for a dual-purpose role that blends hands-on security consulting with strategic leadership. You will create security solutions for clients while also guiding the direction and expertise of our internal Digital Security Competence Center.
What You'll Do
- Create solutions and concepts for client challenges with a focus on IT security and data protection.
- Advise clients on a wide range of security topics.
- Plan and conduct security assessments for existing or planned IT solutions.
- Promote the development and dissemination of security expertise within the company.
- Define topics within the competence center that are relevant for our current and future business.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or a similar field.
- Very good knowledge of Cloud Security.
- Very good knowledge of Threat Modelling as a methodological competence.
- Very good knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, BSI IT Grundschutz, or NIST CF.
- More than 5 years of professional experience as a Solution Designer, Technical Project Manager, Security Consultant, or Enterprise Architect.
- A structured way of working, strong consulting skills (writing, presenting, and communicating), the self-confidence to act as a central client contact, and high quality awareness.
- Fluent German and very good English skills.
