Entegris is seeking a Specialist, R&D IT to play a critical role as an R&D Lab Network Analyst. You will focus on designing, implementing, and managing our R&D lab network environment, ensuring its security, scalability, and reliability while driving innovation.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and deploy changes and updates to the Entegris R&D lab network environment.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement and maintain best practices.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all R&D lab networks.
- Drive innovation and stay current with the latest network services and industry standards.
- Act as the R&D lab firewall subject matter expert for east/west traffic and for R&D cloud operations.
- Document system designs and operational procedures.
- Operate at varying levels, including network strategy, technical design, and hands-on implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and set expectations for deliverables.
- Work with leadership, architects, and infrastructure teams to analyze and improve connectivity, security, and cloud environments.
- Automate the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network-related tasks and solutions.
- Manage effective relationships with various IT and business teams for implementing and supporting network infrastructure.
- Create and update documentation, including equipment lists, diagrams, and system specifications.
- Provide training, technical guidance, and leadership to team members and end users when applicable.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 5+ years of experience in networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls/Panorama, IPv4/v6, and administration of routers/switches.
- A proven record of successful deployment and management of network security solutions at a mid-to-large-scale enterprise.
- Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and experience with QOS.
- Strong experience with Core/Distributed/Edge/Access, data center, and security networking.
- Experience planning and executing projects that require contributions from cross-functional team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking.

Team & Environment
You will report to a Strategic Platform Architecture leader and collaborate closely with Cybersecurity, IT infrastructure teams, architects, and R&D business teams.
