Shape the future of digital asset security by leading the architecture and automation of custody systems. As a Staff Engineer, you will design and scale resilient infrastructure that powers both custodial and non-custodial solutions, ensuring robustness, compliance, and operational precision.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the evolution of custody platforms, building secure systems for new assets, products, and markets
- Transform manual workflows into automated, policy-enforced processes to improve scalability and reliability
- Design core services for transaction signing, policy control, reconciliation, and real-time monitoring
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, compliance, and risk teams to maintain strict regulatory and operational standards
- Oversee secure key management and physical custody procedures with full audit readiness
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of experience developing blockchain-based custody solutions in regulated environments
- Strong coding skills in Python or Go, with hands-on experience in cloud-native systems like AWS and Kubernetes
- Proven expertise with multisignature and MPC technologies, HSMs, and third-party custody providers
- Deep understanding of blockchain architectures, including UTXO (e.g., Bitcoin) and account-based models (e.g., Ethereum, Solana)
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on documentation, collaboration, and security-first practices
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay varies by location: $217,000–$255,000 (Zone 1), $190,000–$224,000 (Zone 2), $169,000–$199,000 (Zone 3). All roles include equity, performance bonuses, 401(k) matching, and multipliers for high impact.
