Role Overview
This position is for a technically skilled AI practitioner who thrives in fast-moving environments and can deliver tangible results under tight timelines. You'll be embedded across multiple portfolio companies, working side by side with leadership teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI automation and then building solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy tailored AI systems using platforms such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and other agentic tools, focusing on document processing, intelligent assistants, and workflow automation.
- Build custom integrations, Skills, and MCP extensions to enhance AI functionality within enterprise environments.
- Apply structured prompt engineering and governance practices to ensure outputs are consistent, secure, and aligned with compliance standards.
- Implement automation across departments including finance, HR, legal, sales, and customer support, prioritizing use cases with clear ROI.
- Assess third-party tools like n8n, Zapier, and vertical SaaS platforms to determine optimal implementation paths.
- Lead integration efforts between AI solutions and legacy systems using APIs, webhooks, and MCP server architectures.
- Collaborate with executives and transformation teams to define project scope, track performance, and demonstrate impact through metrics such as labor savings and error reduction.
- Deliver results quickly—often within 30 to 60 days—while also planning longer-term AI transformation initiatives.
- Train end users, develop documentation, and lead change management efforts to ensure lasting adoption.
- Document successful implementations and create reusable playbooks for scaling proven solutions across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of three years of experience building and deploying automation or AI solutions in production environments.
- Direct experience with AI development platforms including Claude Cowork, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar agentic systems.
- Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with a track record of delivering robust, scalable tools.
- Familiarity with API integrations, webhook design, and RAG-based architectures.
- Proven ability to turn business needs into functional technical systems, from concept through deployment.
- Experience managing concurrent projects across different organizations and industries.
- Ability to communicate progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using data-driven insights.
Preferred Background
- Advanced degree in a technical or quantitative discipline, or equivalent real-world experience.
- Prior work in consulting, private equity, or multi-company environments.
- Exposure to fast-paced, results-driven cultures focused on operational improvement.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely. Approximately 40% of time will be spent traveling to portfolio company locations across major cities including Miami, New York, London, São Paulo, and Hong Kong. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable operating independently in diverse organizational settings.
