As a Junior Cyber Strategy & Architecture Consultant with a focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), you will play a key role in helping organizations strengthen their cybersecurity foundations. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to guide clients through the development and implementation of security strategies, governance models, and compliance programs aligned with frameworks like ISO27001, NIST, NIS2, and DORA.
What You’ll Do
- Support client teams in rolling out strategic cybersecurity initiatives and tailored security programs
- Contribute to the design and improvement of governance structures, policies, and operational processes
- Assist in implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) using structured control frameworks
- Help clients meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements through manual and semi-automated solutions
- Participate in creating action plans in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the preparation of executive-level reports on security posture and compliance status
- Work within integrated teams or directly embedded in client environments to solve real-world security challenges
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field, with a genuine interest in technology and cybersecurity
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
- Ability to work independently while actively contributing to team efforts
- Basic project management experience
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states
Nice to Have
- Some familiarity with automation or scripting
- Initial experience mapping compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, NIS2, DORA) to real-world implementations
