Responsibilities
- Lead a group of engineers specializing in networking and cooperative gameplay, fostering team development and high-quality technical execution.
- Shape the long-term networking strategy and technical vision for online and co-op gameplay features.
- Develop, test, and deploy core multiplayer systems using Unreal Engine's networking tools and custom-built technologies.
- Collaborate with gameplay, systems, and engine engineering teams to integrate replication, authority models, and shared state logic into feature designs.
- Define and promote standards for network efficiency, replication accuracy, latency compensation, and performance across gameplay systems.
- Support technical roadmap planning, effort estimation, and task prioritization for multiplayer development in coordination with engineering leads.
- Investigate, analyze, and enhance networked gameplay systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance across all target platforms.
