ThermoFisher is looking for an R&D Scientist to join the RnD Product Care team at Olink in Uppsala, Sweden. In this role, you will contribute to groundbreaking projects and innovations, focusing on resolving technical challenges and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for product development and processes.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute experiments.
- Analyze large amounts of data and present it visually.
- Solve problems and perform troubleshooting to identify efficient solutions.
- Engage in technical discussions, propose new hypotheses that support problem-solving, and drive decisions related to product improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to successfully achieve our goals.
- Summarize results in technical reports and present conclusions.
What We're Looking For
- PhD or equivalent experience in life sciences.
- Strong knowledge and relevant experience with molecular biology, proteomics, and immunology.
- Detailed lab experience.
- Good skills in data analysis with R and/or Python.
- Previous experience in molecular biology techniques and protein characterization.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data.
- Good knowledge in bioinformatics and statistical methods.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a group.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
