Nagarro is hiring a SAP Basis Consultant to take responsibility for the system operation, maintenance, upgrades, and direct customer support for diverse SAP environments. In our dynamic and non-hierarchical work culture, you will be a key technical expert ensuring platform stability and performance.
What You'll Do
- Ensure system operation, perform error analysis and maintenance, and execute system updates for customer systems.
- Carry out common basic projects such as release upgrades for ABAP and Java, and take over project management when required.
- Be responsible for technology planning of SAP HANA and manage HANA migration projects.
- Support customers as 2nd and 3rd level support in troubleshooting and performance services.
- Support presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services.
What We're Looking For
- Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2).
- Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends.
- Proven experience in setup and operation of SAP systems, as well as upgrades, patches, and DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Rise and SAP BTP.
- Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, or DB2.
- Completed university studies in business informatics, computer science, or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience.
