Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Software Development Expert to help design and evolve a next-generation energy trading platform. Your work will directly impact the reliability, speed, and intelligence of systems driving the transition to sustainable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement performance improvements in algorithmic trading infrastructure
- Champion system resilience and scalability across all layers of the platform
- Design and refine cloud architecture, core services, and inter-system communication
- Develop data visualization tools to track system health and trading activity
What You Bring
- Strong command of a compiled language and advanced Python proficiency
- Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related discipline
- Proven experience with cloud platforms and database systems
- Solid background in building and maintaining 24/7 production systems
- Comfort with concurrency and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges
- Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative, fast-moving environment

Compensation
Minimum annual gross salary of EUR 70,000. Additional equity or bonuses are not included.
Work Locations
This role is open to candidates in Austria, Belgium, Slovakia, Spain, and the UK. We support a hybrid setup with significant flexibility and the option to work remotely for up to 60 days per year.
